Urban Speech & Occupational Therapy’s Apraxia Adventure Camp is an opportunity to help your child gain confidence in their communication. The camp was designed for children diagnosed with childhood apraxia of speech (CAS) or suspected childhood apraxia of speech in the age range of 3 to 8 years old. During Apraxia Adventure Camp, campers participate in fun and engaging activities with a small group. These activities are created to strengthen your child’s speech skills while enhancing socialization and peer interaction in a supportive setting. Sessions are led by our team of speech therapists with expertise in childhood apraxia of speech. See below for more details!
Apraxia Adventure Camp will be held on the following Friday mornings this summer.
June 5th, 12th, 26th
July 10th, 17th, 24th
August 7th, 14th, 21st
Sessions are determined by your child’s age on the first day of camp.
Sessions for ages 3 to 4 will take place from 8:00am to 9:00am.
Sessions for ages 5 to 6 will take place from 9:15am to 10:15am.
Sessions for ages 7 to 8 will take place from 10:30am to 11:30am.
Apraxia Adventure Camp costs $750 and is not billable through insurance. Cost of camp includes a t-shirt. To sign up, complete the following form and return to mckenzie@urbanspeechmn.com. Your child does not need to be a client to participate.
